a spectacular mixture of classical and modern ballets are planned for each night’s performance in a unique outdoor setting

Spanish dance master Luis Montero will return to restage his Carmen, which received its worldwide debut at the 2001 SUMMER DANCE CONCERT. Other works being planned include Western Sweet with choreography by Michael Vernon, as well as Ebb and Flow by resident choreographer Elise Lavallee.

Ballet Concerto engages choreographers of national and international renown and professional dancers from ballet companies throughout the United States for this concert. Ballet Concerto has presented this popular professional ballet performance to metroplex audiences every summer since 1983, with 2020 being the only exception.
